September paired two decisive worldwide showcases with sustained regional success, leaving the leading MOBA rosters separated by the kind of performance each made most convincing.

The month

September produced two different arguments for control of the MOBA calendar. 404 delivered the month’s sharpest opening statement, going 8-0 for $300,000 in MOBA Masters 4. Two weeks later, PHI | Orangutan Ganji answered with a 7-0 run and the same $300,000 reward in MOBA Masters 5. The two richest individual competitions therefore ended with different unbeaten winners.

Beyond those peaks, volume and consistency changed the shape of the month. PHI | Scar Reign led the supplied monthly totals with $2,047,700, 82 championships and a 446-69 record across 598 appearances. 🇬🇧 | Akuma Team followed closely at $2,011,600, while 404 combined its worldwide breakthrough with $1,991,200 and 82 championships. That contrast made September less a coronation than a debate between the biggest stage and the strongest body of work.

Competitions and leagues

The two open-worldwide competitions supplied the month’s clearest head-to-head measuring stick. 404 won MOBA Masters 4, with PHI | Orangutan Ganji taking $180,000 from a 7-1 run. Their positions reversed at MOBA Masters 5, where the latter won unbeaten and the former collected $39,000. Each proved capable of landing the month’s largest available prize, but neither controlled both events.

The regional leagues rewarded repetition. In Asia/Pacific residency competition, PHI | Scar Reign earned $200,000 victories at both MOBA APAC League S3.3 and MOBA APAC League S3.4. In Americas residency competition, 🇬🇧 | Akuma Team matched that $200,000 return at MOBA AMER League S3.2, MOBA AMER League S3.3 and MOBA AMER League S3.4. The margin is narrow: 🇬🇧 | Akuma Team finished only $36,100 behind and assembled three documented $200,000 Americas wins, while 404 paired 82 championships with the 8-0 triumph in the first worldwide showcase. PHI | Orangutan Ganji remains the other compelling alternative after its unbeaten victory in the second. Should managers favor PHI | Scar Reign for its month-wide output, or does 404 deserve first place for combining nearly the same winnings with the more emphatic worldwide run?

Notable transfers

The transfer market was defined by three deals at or above $900,000. brownpeacoccK1 set the pace at $1,310,000 on September 26, and PHI|podiSR followed at $1,210,000 on September 2. Wicadia completed the leading group at $900,000 on September 17. Their timing spread major movement across the whole month rather than concentrating it around a single deadline.

MOBA GOAT debate

Eight months of supported MOBA history leave my first place with PHI⚡️Vortex Raijin⚡️VAL, but September makes that choice narrower rather than safer. The record still lacks a common cross-month point standing or rating measure, and schedule sizes have changed enough that winnings and championship totals need context. Repeat elite months, match efficiency, title conversion and performance in the richest events remain the fairest combined test.

The case for PHI⚡️Vortex Raijin⚡️VAL remains its three-month run from June through August. It led June prize money at $1,529,572, earned $1,871,070 in July while going 8-0 for $300,000 in that month’s richest competition, then led August winnings at $2,560,440 and repeated the same unbeaten $300,000 result at the richest worldwide event. That produced $5,961,082 across three months, backed in August by 67 championships, 82 podiums and 354 wins. September adds no supported result, so this is now a lead based on the strongest completed run rather than the best current form.

The strongest challenge comes from 🇬🇧 | Akuma Team. June supplied a 399-55 record, 50 championships and $1,493,088, while July supplied the field leads in winnings, championships and wins at $1,957,600, 93 titles and 471 victories. After no supported August result, it returned in September with $2,011,600 and three documented $200,000 Americas residency victories. That gives it three elite months across the four most recent months and answers the absence problem that moved it behind the leader in August. The evidence does not supply a September match line or championship total for a direct efficiency comparison, however, and it still lacks the leader’s consecutive unbeaten victories in the richest events.

404 has the strongest momentum case. August brought $1,979,780, 81 championships and two unbeaten $200,000 regional league campaigns. September added $1,991,200, 82 championships and an 8-0 victory worth $300,000 in the first worldwide showcase. Two consecutive months of nearly $2 million, 163 combined championships and success at both regional and worldwide level make this much more than a one-event surge. I would still place it behind the two three-month contenders because its supported run is shorter, but another month at this level would remove that objection. September’s $2,047,700 leader, PHI | Scar Reign, also deserves entry into the debate after 82 championships, a 446-69 record and two $200,000 regional victories, though one supported month is not yet an all-time case.

So my order remains editorial: PHI⚡️Vortex Raijin⚡️VAL first for the deepest run and consecutive richest-event triumphs, 🇬🇧 | Akuma Team next for returning with a third elite month, and 404 close behind for the strongest two-month momentum. What October result should change first place: another worldwide victory by 404, a fourth elite month from 🇬🇧 | Akuma Team, or a return by PHI⚡️Vortex Raijin⚡️VAL that extends its richest-stage advantage?
