April pushed ESMO’s largest prize pools into a handful of worldwide events, and AVNG DooM converted them into a leading $3,008,200 while AVNG | Rez0x built the rival case with 128 championships from a far wider schedule.

The month across ESMO

April’s money sat in very few places. CS staged two worldwide competitions worth $692,000 each, MOBA’s single largest pool was also $692,000, and CARBALL compressed its whole month into three regional opens on the final day. Winning one of those fields was the fastest route to a big month, and AVNG DooM took that route twice. Its CS side went 8-0 in both worldwide events for $300,000 each time, and the club closed April on 93 championships, a 560-45 record and $3,008,200, the highest club total of the month.

The counterweight was volume, and MOBA supplied it. Twelve regional leagues, four per residency region, each carried $435,000, and 112 regional invitationals kept the calendar full around them. That grind is easy to underrate: one of AVNG | Rez0x’s sides turned 29 appearances on the EMEA invitational circuit into 28 titles and $767,000, more than twice the $300,000 that winning MOBA’s richest competition paid. Collected in pieces, the circuit answered the peak events. At club level AVNG | Rez0x finished on 128 championships, 170 podiums and a 661-199 record across 970 appearances, while 🇵🇭| Disgrace | AVNG, whose side won MOBA’s richest field with a 7-1 run, ended on $2,491,960 and 119 championships.

One structural detail is worth keeping straight, because ESMO’s two regional systems are not the same thing. Residency eligibility decides who may enter a competition; a competition point circuit decides where the resulting points land. MOBA’s regional leagues restricted residency and carried no point region at all, and April’s CS qualifiers behaved the same way in their published summaries. CARBALL was the exception, pairing each of its three opens with an APAC, EMEA or AMER point circuit on top of a residency rule, which is how one calendar day still produced three separate regional arguments.

Reading the month at club level rather than game by game also shifts the picture, because plenty of clubs field sides in more than one game. LMS|FyreFyter is the clearest case, showing up in both the MOBA and the CS month and finishing with 988 appearances, more than any other club here, along with 117 championships and playoff depth 13. CARBALL sits at the other extreme, where the leading side won its regional open with a 7-0 record in a single day, so its April profile is a sharp benchmark drawn from a small sample rather than a long body of work. The club totals below carry that difference inside them, which is a good reason to treat the order as an argument rather than a result.

Best clubs

My first choice is AVNG DooM. It leads April’s club totals at $3,008,200, and it earned that at the two richest CS competitions of the month, winning both 8-0 for $300,000 apiece. Its 560-45 record is the tightest of the five clubs that cleared $2 million. The honest objection is range: this is a one-side club with 93 championships and playoff depth 5, so the case rests on conversion at the top of the calendar rather than on breadth.

AVNG | Rez0x is the strongest alternative and, under a different weighting, a defensible first place. Its 128 championships lead the month, its three sides produced 170 podiums and 661 wins from 970 appearances, and $2,863,320 leaves it only $144,880 behind on prize money. If you measure a month by how much a club wins in total rather than by what it does at the richest events, the order flips.

🇵🇭| Disgrace | AVNG holds the middle claim, and it is a good one: $2,491,960, 119 championships and the side that converted MOBA’s biggest field with a 7-1 title run. Yellow Sub - LMS deserves more attention than fourth place on money suggests, because 607-117 is the second cleanest record among those five clubs and it came with 117 championships and playoff depth 11.

Two more belong in the conversation for opposite reasons. LMS|FyreFyter carried the heaviest workload of anyone, 988 appearances across two games, and still returned 117 championships at playoff depth 13, which matters if you rate a club that competes everywhere at once. QEA|HAVEX is the mirror image: 23 losses against 520 wins is comfortably the tightest loss column in this group, though 78 championships and $1,943,310 keep it just outside the clubs above it. Neither reading is wrong, and I would not defend positions three through six as settled.

So put first place to a vote. Does AVNG DooM keep it for turning the two richest CS fields of April into two unbeaten titles, or does AVNG | Rez0x take it for winning 128 championships across three sides while giving up only $144,880 of prize money?

Notable transfers

April’s market had one deal standing above the rest. RG|Xaros moved on April 25 for $1,000,000, the highest fee among the month’s $89 candidates. Both ends were serious operations: Raguna sold, 🇵🇭| Blood Wolves |AVNG bought, and both finished inside April’s top dozen clubs on prize money.

The second-highest fee in that same group tells a different story. Commandoyellowwolf920 went for $750,000 on April 26, from HMS-DUALITY-WASHED to Akuma Team | LMS, neither of them anywhere near the top of the club prize table. Money at that level was not confined to the clubs winning the biggest events, which is the more interesting fact about April’s market than the headline fee itself.

Two other moves run straight through the clubs argued over above. OBN|Kenpachi left LMS|FyreFyter for AVNG | Ravena on April 12 at $470,000, one of the month’s five clubs above $2 million selling rather than buying at the top of the market. Then Dobby went from IdK to Almiras 🇧🇷 | LMS on April 27 for $450,000, a MOBA deal between the two clubs whose CARBALL sides produced the month’s leading title runs.

A fee records what a club was willing to commit and nothing more. The April evidence here covers the amount, the date and the clubs on each side; it does not establish what any of these moves changed on the field.

ESMO Club GOAT debate

Fifteen months of supported ESMO record now stand behind a club argument, and it has to open with what that record still cannot do. MOBA and CS have never priced a result the same way, CARBALL only entered the ledger this month through three regional opens staged on a single calendar day, and no club rating series exists in any of the three games. So nothing below is normalized between games, no composite score is built from them, and a month with no supported line for a club is an unrecorded result rather than a defeat. Prize money is context for how hard a result was to reach, not a verdict by itself.

My pick remains Yellow Sub - LMS, narrowly, and April is the weakest month of the run that put it there. The run is still the longest current one in the record. December gave it the ESMO money lead at $3,008,784 with 129 championships and a 798-126 record, January the supplied club lead at $3,415,500 with 153 championships and 795 wins, February the largest haul in that month’s evidence at $3,068,798, and March $3,836,500 with 159 championships, 185 podiums and a 918-156 line. April adds a fifth consecutive month at the front: 117 championships, playoff depth 11 and a 607-117 record, the second cleanest among the five clubs that cleared $2 million, from fourth place on money. Nobody else in this record has been near the front for five months running.

Breadth is the other half of that case, and it is the half April did not renew. Underpass Sub - LMS carried the CS side from a perfect run through December’s open worldwide afternoon for $300,000, through an 8-0 worldwide final in January, an 81-championship February at $1,984,600 and 504-50, to 85 championships, $2,342,800 and two unbeaten qualifying runs in March. Yellow Sub - LMS supplied the other game: a regional league round in December, consecutive EMEA league rounds and 78 championships in January, and an unbeaten 8-0 international title in February. Neither side is named in April’s MOBA or CS summaries. That is unrecorded rather than beaten, and a fresh club-level April line is not the same thing as silence, but a two-game claim that now reaches back two months in MOBA and one in CS is thinner than it was in February. I hold the front of this card looser than at any point since December.

The durability alternative is still AVNG juster, and it is the case I would find hardest to argue down. Through AVNG juster it produced front-line CS evidence in every published month from February 2025 through February 2026: two $100,000 days taken off that first month’s runaway leader at 36-4, a 96-1 March, a 113-2 April that included three straight final wins over PHI | Apathy, still the only finals any two of these long-run cases have ever settled between them, then a month-leading $2,365,900 on 585-44 in October, the record monthly total of $2,949,300 on 628-19 in December, and $1,968,500 with 81 championships in January. Neither March nor April supplies a fresh result for that side. April’s only trace of the club is in CARBALL, where AVNG juster reached playoff depth 4 at 3-2 in the EMEA open without winning it, and the supplied summary names that roster rather than the club above it, so I would hold the link loosely rather than bank it. The older reservation is unchanged: this is a CS case, and its second board has never commanded MOBA the way that roster commanded CS.

The sharpest current peak belongs to AVNG DooM, and it is the alternative most likely to take first place next. Through AVNG DooM it followed a March of 93 championships, $2,793,900 and an 8-0 worldwide title with an April of 93 championships, a 560-45 record and $3,008,200, the highest club total of the month, built on 8-0 runs worth $300,000 at both of the two richest CS competitions April staged. Three unbeaten titles on the largest common stages inside two months is the strongest peak conversion anyone has produced since the summer. What keeps it lower for now is exactly what this column has said about every enormous arrival since April 2025: two months proves a ceiling and leaves the floor unproven, and at playoff depth 5 with a single competing side this is a one-game club.

Two more live cases pull in opposite directions and neither is settled. QEA|HAVEX has the tightest loss column anywhere in April at 520-23 through QEA|HAVEX, and that is a third consecutive month near the front after a 580-8 February with an unbeaten worldwide title and a 582-35 March with another one. April gave it 78 championships, $1,943,310, a 7-0 qualifier worth $100,000 and $180,000 at the first of the two worldwide fields, but not a third worldwide title, which is the one thing the March column asked it for. AVNG | Rez0x makes the opposite argument and makes it well: 128 championships lead April outright, 170 podiums and a 661-199 record came from 970 appearances across three sides, and $2,863,320 leaves it only $144,880 short of the month’s money leader. AVNG | Rez0x is now two elite MOBA months deep, $1,975,500 with 85 championships in March, then April’s leading $2.105 million with 84 championships and a 380-70 line, including 28 championships and $767,000 from 29 EMEA invitational appearances and two regional league rounds taken at a combined 15-0. Weight total winning over conversion at the richest events and that club, not mine, is your April first place.

Three shorter entries keep the April field honest without changing the order. 🇵🇭| Disgrace | AVNG finished on $2,491,960 and 119 championships, and 🇵🇭| Disgrace | AVNG converted MOBA’s richest field 7-1 for $300,000 one day after a 6-0 qualifier worth $100,000, the cleanest single sequence of the month. LMS|FyreFyter carried 988 appearances, more than any other club, across both games for 117 championships at playoff depth 13, with LMS|FyreFyter on 56 championships and 266-85 in MOBA and LMS|FyreFyter adding a 7-0 CS qualifier run worth $100,000, four months after taking the year’s final open CS afternoon at 7-1. And CARBALL’s April profile, three opens decided in one day, is a benchmark rather than a body of work, which is why it moves nobody in this argument yet.

The completed peaks still shade all of it. 🇵🇭 | AP is the only club in the record to finish in front of both MOBA and CS in the same month twice, $4,026,580 with 281 championships in May 2025 and $3,731,000 with 129 championships in June, supported by Apathy and by PHI | Apathy going 454-29 with two undefeated worldwide titles. 🇵🇭| Scar Reign |QEA led the supplied club field three months running to $4,345,800 in September and led both games in the last of them, through PHI | Scar Reign at 533-28 in CS and PHI | Scar Reign at $2,047,700 in MOBA. Skillbox owns the earliest ceiling, February 2025 at $2,332,890 and 166 championships on 719-60, earned twice over by Skillbox and Skillbox, with the qualification that belongs in the open rather than in a footnote: the March 2025 edition credits those two sides to other clubs, so any ledger built across that attribution is held loosely. Ten months, seven months and fourteen months have passed without fresh evidence for the three of them. That is untested, not beaten, and if you rate the height of a finished peak above the length of a live line, any of them can be your first place instead.
