May 2026 MOBA competitive digest

A $692,000 worldwide final sharpened a month in which QEA | Rez0x set the pace through remarkable volume, while Fabulous I QEA made the strongest case from the headline event.

The month

May’s central tension was between sustained production and the significance of the month’s worldwide final. QEA | Rez0x accumulated $2,314,600, 74 championships, and a 403-83 record across 538 appearances, numbers that made it the standard for week-to-week output.

That case met a genuine challenge at MOBA Masters 18, an open worldwide final with a $692,000 cash pool. Fabulous I QEA received $300,000 there after six wins in seven appearances, while QEA | Rez0x received $180,000 with seven wins in eight. The biggest prize comparison therefore did not simply mirror the month-long table.

Competitions and leagues

The regional leagues supplied the rhythm before and after the worldwide final. The four $435,000 EMEA events, MOBA EMEA League S11.1, MOBA EMEA League S11.2, MOBA EMEA League S11.3, and MOBA EMEA League S11.4, produced a $120,000, $120,000, $200,000, then $72,000 sequence for QEA | Rez0x. SHC | Eighth Escapists supplied a late counterpoint by receiving $200,000 in the fourth event.

The Americas and Asia/Pacific schedules had the same $435,000 scale but different leaders. 🇧🇷 Tx Gaming received $200,000 in each of MOBA AMER League S11.1 and MOBA AMER League S11.2, before Heath84 Esports | LMS received $200,000 in MOBA AMER League S11.4. In Asia/Pacific, 🇵🇭| Disgrace | AVNG took $200,000 in MOBA APAC League S11.2, leaving regional momentum distributed rather than concentrated in one roster.

Best rosters

My first choice is QEA | Rez0x. The $2,314,600 return and 74 championships stand apart, and its 403 wins against 83 losses show that the volume was not empty participation. The worldwide final does prevent this from being a simple verdict: Fabulous I QEA earned the event’s largest roster payment, $300,000, and reached a playoff depth of five.

The credible regular-season alternatives are 🇧🇷| Clown Dynasty |QEA, with $1,355,800, 35 championships, and a 222-101 record, plus Heath84 Esports | LMS, with $1,245,800, 38 championships, and a 242-100 record. Their cases make the order debatable, but neither combined cash, championships, and appearance volume as completely as the first choice. Should QEA | Rez0x take first place for its title-rich $2,314,600 month, or should Fabulous I QEA be favored for the $300,000 worldwide-final result?

Notable transfers

Dania began a leading transfer storyline with a $1,000,000 fee on 14 May. Before the month ended, Dania recorded another $1,000,000 fee for the same player, taking the thread through three clubs. Those two moves ranked third and second among the $63-fee candidates, making it a rapid rerouting rather than a single landing.

MOBA GOAT debate

My first place moves to QEA | Rez0x. March supplied $1,975,500, 85 championships and a 438-92 record; April added $2.105 million, 84 championships and a 380-70 line; May brings $2,314,600, 74 championships and 403 wins against 83 losses. Across three consecutive months, that is $6,395,100, 243 championships and a 1,221-245 record. The record still lacks a common cross-month rating or point measure, but this is now the broadest recent case that combines sustained volume with strong conversion rather than a single event peak.

May also keeps the decision honest. At the $692,000 worldwide final, Fabulous I QEA took the largest roster payment, $300,000, after six wins in seven appearances. QEA | Rez0x received $180,000 despite seven wins in eight appearances. That result is the strongest immediate argument for weighting the month’s sharpest stage above its full calendar, and it prevents the three-month totals from being a settled verdict.

The historical alternative remains NEC | RoyalT1 🇸🇬. Its January through March run produced 254 championships and a 1,353-186 record across three consecutive elite months, a slightly higher title total with far fewer losses than the current first choice has across its own three-month run. April and May add no supported result for it, which is unknown rather than evidence of decline. 404… also still owns the accumulation benchmark of $10,312,091 and 391 championships across five uninterrupted months, so a recency-based first place does not erase the longer standard.

For now I prefer QEA | Rez0x because May confirms that its March and April form was not a two-month burst, while its worldwide-final result supplies a clear weakness for challengers to test. If Fabulous I QEA follows its $300,000 worldwide-final win with a comparable full-month record, should that peak displace three consecutive months worth $6,395,100 and 243 championships, or would another month near the 403-83 pace make sustained conversion the stronger standard?
